About the 2016/17 Fessenden-Trott Scholarship

Up to $9,000 is available for students who have completed their first year of their first bachelor degree program by the deadline date of June 15. Applicants who have undertaken prior postsecondary studies will not be eligible and the scholarship is tenable for up to three consecutive years or until the first bachelor degree is obtained.

There are up to four scholarships available and it is applicable towards full-time students who are entering their second year.

Requirements for Eligibility

Eligible applicants must:

  • have completed the first year of their first bachelor degree program in a Canadian educational institution which is a member or affiliated
  • have completed the first year of their first bachelor degree program in a Canadian educational institution which is a member or affiliated with a member of Universities Canada
  • have attained a high academic standing as defined by the nominating institution
  • be nominated by a Canadian educational institution which is a member or affiliated with a member of University Canada where the first year of the bachelor degree studies has been completed.

Applications may be submitted in a sealed envelope and addressed to Ms. Sriyani Dissanayake in the Academic Programs Office (DSB112) by Friday, April 28, 2017.
