Volunteer with ‘MYCU in the City’

McMaster Children & Youth University (MCYU) welcomes undergraduate AND graduate students from all disciplines to become facilitators and take part in its unique community outreach program.The goal of this program is to present hands-on inquiry-based workshops to youth 7-14 years of age and their families in community centres and schools.

MCYU in the City provides you with valuable training in inquiry-based lesson planning and delivery, community engagement, and knowledge translation. Through the program, MCYU in the City facilitators gain essential leadership, communication, and project management skills that are highly sought after by employers.
