Area of Expertise
Professor Hassini uses mathematical models and techniques to solve business decision problems. He teaches supply chain management and operations management. His current research projects include e-retailing supply chain management, joint pricing and inventory management in supply chains, supplier selection and negotiations and design and operation of e-auctions and e-marketplaces for procurement.

Professional Activities
Dr. Hassini's work has appeared in several refereed journals. He has been chairing the Annual International Symposium on Supply Chain Management since 2006. He is a member of the Canadian Operational Research Society and currently serves as its treasurer.
