NORM ARCHER
Dr. Archer and his students carry out research on electronic health applications and systems; electronic business; identity theft; supply chain management; project management; change management in eGovernment; and mobile commerce. He has a major responsibility in the collaborative MSc eHealth program that is a joint undertaking by the DeGroote School of Business, Faculty of Health Sciences, and the Computing and Software Department. He teaches courses in electronic health and information systems.
Dr. Archer has published in a number of journals, including the International Journal of Medical Informaticn, Communications of the Association for Information Systems, Decision Sciences, IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man & Cybernetics, International Journal of Human-Computer Studies, and Journal of Operations Management. He has consulted on issues related to computer system and software selection, and project management. He is a member of the Canadian Information Processing Society, COACH, Association for Computing Machinery, Association for Information Systems, and the Project Management Institute.
