Area of Expertise
Professor Hao specializes in financial accounting, especially in the areas of economic consequences and motivation of financial disclosure, capital market anomalies, and issues of information economics in the financial market. He teaches courses in intermediate financial accounting and financial accounting theory.

Professor Hao has presented his research works at 1996 Eastern Finance Association annual meeting and at workshops of several universities in the North America. He has business experience in Taiwan as financial analyst and loan officer for 6 years. Before joining McMaster University he taught various financial accounting courses at State University of New York at Buffalo for 5 years.
