Scott PaquetteAssistant Professor
Dr. Paquette is an assistant professor of Information systems specializing in the organizational use of social media technologies to connect with customers, and information governance & security. He has published in numerous academic journals and authored two books. Dr. Paquette instructs the AT Kearney Consulting course in the DeGroote MBA program, and has been nominated for teaching awards for his work within the core MBA curriculum. He has also taught executive and professional education courses in both Canada and the U.S.
Scott’s previous professional experience was spent as the manager of domestic banking systems and technology audit for Scotiabank, a project manager for eCommerce implementations at AT&T Canada, and a business consultant for IS risk management at Arthur Andersen. His clients were primarily in the financial and insurance industries. Scott also founded a successful consulting business that specializes in learning and knowledge management for government organizations and corporations.
