Dr. Waverman is a world-renowned expert in international telecommunications and global resource economics.

He earned his B. Com. and MA from the University of Toronto and his PhD in economics from MIT. He has been a professor of economics at the University of Toronto and the London Business School and Dean of the Haskayne School of Business as well as professor of strategy at the University of Calgary.

Financing innovation: It’s not about the money

Innovators often fail to get financing for their business ventures because he or she just isn’t business savvy, not necessarily because an investor doesn’t believe in their product. When looking for financing, it’s important to show a potential investor that you know your business strategy, marketing and financial analysis.
