Do You Want to be a DeGroote Leader?

We have successfully recruited two students to the DeGroote Leadership Development Program for 2018. Please welcome Alyssa Marck and Rae Li, both of whom were more than happy to share a few thoughts on their expectations as DLDP Program Coordinators:

As an MBA student with an appreciation for individualization, I’m thrilled to both teach and learn different mentorship qualities alongside my peers, Alumni and Faculty, in order to achieve a shared objective: Motivate and support first-year students in accomplishing their goals at DeGroote.”Alyssa Marck

“Through the DLDP, we are creating a collaborative environment for first-year MBA students with mentorship from DeGroote Leaders. I look forward to work with the DeGroote Leaders, Faculty and Administration to support students’ leadership development and to build the alumni relations by creating a culture of giving.”Rae L

Now, we need to recruit our DeGroote Leaders!

Are you a senior co-op or full-time student finishing classes in December 2018 or April 2019? Are you looking to get more involved in the DeGroote community? If you answered yes, the DLDP is the perfect role for you!

We are seeking a group of talented DeGroote Leaders, representing both our Co-op and Full-time programs to support 2018 incoming students’ transitioning.

As a DeGroote Leader, you will:

  • Develop your communication, leadership and mentorship skills while sharing your experiences with first-year students
  • Facilitate an environment of inclusion, collaboration, and diversity during Onboarding Week as the new cohort begins their journey in Fall 2018

How Do I Apply?

The application will be in OSCARplus no later than Thursday, Feb. 15, and close on Thursday, March 1 at 11:59 p.m. The DLDP Program Coordinators and Administration will review all applications. Interviews will be scheduled for the week of March 12.

Got Questions?

Join us on Monday, Feb. 26 from 5:30 – 6:45 p.m. in Room 364 for an information session. Pleas register on OSCARplus.

Please feel free to email Alyssa Marck or Rae Li if you have any questions!
