Anwar Haque is a seasoned technology management professional, an avid researcher, and a passionate mentor. His research philosophy is to conduct research on real world complex problems to materialize the theory into practice, and bridging the gap between academia and industry. Dr. Haque is currently an Associate Director at Bell Canada where he oversees Bell`s network and service costing, as well as the company’s multi-million-dollar network capital portfolios. He is also an adjunct Assistant Professor in DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University. His primary research interests are focused on the management of network systems and services in Telecommunication networks.

Dr. Haque showed exemplary leadership in promoting Canadian academia-industry research collaboration in various ICT sectors. Over the last 12+ years, his strong support as an industry champion for promoting academia-industry collaboration through R&D projects resulted in multi-million dollar research funding where he partnered with major Canadian research Universities and funding agencies (NSERC, CITO, MITACS, ORF, and COE).

Dr. Haque has made significant scholarly contribution in his field of research. He authored more than 45 technical papers in reputed peer-reviewed journals, conferences, book chapters, and industry forums in the area of network management. He has served as TPC member/reviewer for international conferences /journals, and keynote/invited guest speaker at various industry-academia forum and conferences. He also serves as an adjunct Research Professor at Dept. of Computer Science, Western University; and as an industry advisor at School of Computing, Queen’s University.
