Description
Presented by the Health Leadership Academy.
Dr. Christopher Longo will provide a brief background of how and why economic evaluations are completed. He will discuss recent trends, including guidance changes, and help you understand how these changes might affect how (and which) cancer drugs are funded. He will also discuss future considerations and changes which may be needed.
Dr. Longo has over 25 years of experience in clinical research, economic evaluation and access strategies for pharmaceuticals. His current research examines the costs and economic evaluation of interventions / programs throughout the cancer journey, with the intent of informing policy decision-making.
