Waquar teaches finance courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels at McMaster University. Currently he is teaching 3FA3 (Managerial Finance) at undergraduate program and I601 (Managing Financial Resources) and F712 (Applied Corporate Finance) at MBA program. Prior to working at DeGroote School of Business he taught at the China campus of University of Surrey (U.K.), Drexel University (U.S.A.) and University of Dhaka (Bangladesh).
Waquar’s teaching interests include corporate and managerial finance, mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance. His research interests are primarily empirical corporate finance and corporate governance.
