Alumni Coffee Break – Erica Shield of Shaw Communications

Erica Shield currently holds the role of Vice President, Brand and Communications and has held a series of Marketing leadership positions since joining Shaw in 2010. In her current role, Erica oversees company-wide internal communications as well as brand activities including strategy, in-house creative and research. Prior to this role, Erica held the roles of Director, Marketing Planning and Director, Shaw Business Marketing at Shaw.

Erica’s previous experience included various leadership positions at advertising agencies in both Toronto and Calgary including time spent in consumer-packaged goods with clients such as Pepsi-co and Kellogg’s and in the quick service restaurant category with KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell.

Erica holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce from McMaster and currently sits on the board of the Calgary Czech School.
