Spend your 2019 Fall semester working with City of Hamilton staff on real-world challenges and earn 15 credits at the same time!

The CityLAB Semester in Residence is for motivated students who want to learn from the community, apply their classroom learnings, and expand their personal and professional networks. Students will work with the City of Hamilton staff on projects such as designing sustainable mobility solutions, improving digital literacy, developing a process for community art installations and planning a smartphone application for cultural scavenger hunts.

Visit the CityLAB website for more information, and click here to read what our students from last fall’s Semester@CityLAB course had to say about the experience.

Applications are due Friday, May 31, and students from all faculties are welcome to apply. Please speak with your academic advisor as soon as possible to see how CityLAB courses can be incorporated into your program requirements.
