Become a DeGroote Ambassador!

| September 14, 2022
Submitted by Avery Pingue for DeGroote Ambassadors

The DeGroote Ambassador Program plans and manages student engagements for admissions at the DeGroote School of Business. Formally established in 2019, the team connects current students and alumni from both the Commerce and Integrated Business and Humanities programs with prospective students throughout their university decision-making process.

You will have the opportunity to represent DeGroote at recruitment events and engagements throughout the year. The team of student ambassadors will work alongside the DeGroote Ambassador Program Director, Lead Ambassadors, and the Recruitment & Admissions Officer for the DeGroote School of Business. You will share personal experiences, provide information, and build relationships to help recruit students to the program.

Events that have occurred in the past include May@Mac, Fall Preview, Day in the Life, and monthly drop-ins. Other activities include high school presentations, one-on-one chats with prospective students, and reviewing Supplementary Applications.

If you are interested in contributing to the future of McMaster, sharing your faculty pride, and positively representing the DeGroote School of Business, this is a great opportunity for you!
