DWIB Presents: Case Competition & Panel – Change Makers

Are you looking for an experiential learning opportunity? Are you ready to put your business knowledge to the test?

Join DWIB for our annual Case Competition & Panel: Change Makers!

Take your education beyond the classroom and engage in experiential learning! Participants will gain real-world experience by competing in a case challenge focused on gender diversity and EDI in the corporate world. Competitors will have the opportunity to solve a case and present their solution to a panel of judges. During the event, competitors will also have the opportunity to network with industry professionals during the panel.

Competition Details

  • Participants may compete in teams of 2 or 3. Competitors may also register individually to be grouped with other competitors.
  • No case experience is required!
  • An itinerary will be provided to competitors in advance of the event.

Junior Category

  • 1st and 2nd year students
  • Case will be sent out two days in advance and the presentation deck will be due the morning of the event

Senior Category

  • 3rd, 4th and 5th year students
  • Case will be released on the day of the event and resolution time will be provided

Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 teams in each category!

  • Location: CIBC Hall
  • Register: Google Forms
  • Registration closes Tuesday, January 24 at 11:59 pm (ET)
  • Spots are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. This event is free for all DWIB members. Half-year memberships are still available for purchase.
