| April 4, 2022
Submitted by Chris Fitchett for Marketing & Community Engagement

Renewable. Green. Clean. These are all words associated with the sustainable energy industry. But how much do we really know? Sustainable energy is a fast-growing, quickly developing, and highly diversified industry that spans a wide range of disciplines. With climate change and global warming not slowing down, a new approach to energy must be adopted, with sustainable energy practices leading the charge.

Join our speakers, Dr. Goran Calic, Associate Professor of Strategic Management at DeGroote School of Business, and DeGroote alumni Bernadette Corpuz, General Counsel, OYA Solar and David Van Alstyne, President, CleanTechonomics Energy Inc, for an evening of in-person networking and learning where they will have a conversation around the sustainable energy industry. Throughout the evening, they will discuss a variety of topics, including but not limited to:

  • Types of sustainable energy
  • New and emerging developments
  • Technological innovation
  • Consumer adoption
  • Regulations and policies
  • What the future is shaping up to look like
