Have You Deferred An Exam?

If you deferred a final exam from the Winter 2022 term, you will be writing this final exam during the Summer 2022 Deferred Exam period (Monday, June 20 to Friday, June 24). This exam will be the same format as was provided during the Winter 2022 exam period (ie. In-person, online, take-home, etc). There will be no further accommodations made regarding the completion of this course component.

Can I defer my deferred exam? No. You may apply for a Late Withdrawal if you cannot write the deferred exam.

How do I find my deferred exam details? Mosaic > Personal Exam Timetable available two weeks before the deferred exam period in June.

What do I do if I don’t see my exam details? Email the Scheduling Examinations Office at exams@mcmaster.ca and the Student Experience Team at buscom@mcmaster.ca using your McMaster email and include:

• Full name
• Student number
• Course code for the deferred exam you were approved for
• Screenshot of your Personal Exam Timetable

The Scheduling Examinations Office will follow up with your exam details.
