Internship Professional Development Workshop: Business Communications | May 12

Invest in your professional development and career experience success by learning the ins and outs of professional business communications. This session is ideal for any DeGroote student entering a professional business experience for the first time. Open to BCom, MBA, eHealth and MFin students. Strongly encouraged for all BCom with Internship students. This highly engaging session will have you thinking about all aspects of your communication approach and how to increase your effectiveness in the workplace.

Lori Stephenson is a dynamic communicator who motivates and collaborates with individuals to achieve lasting change. She enables greatness and helps individuals be more effective in their lives. As a keynote speaker and facilitator, she connects with her audience and turns concepts into real and practical workplace and life solutions.

In the corporate world, Lori was with CIBC and then Accenture as a Senior Manager with global responsibilities for talent development. In 2005, Lori founded a coaching and facilitation business focusing on leadership development, career management, communication and team effectiveness.
