MBA Student Questions

We know you have questions, and while we don’t have all the answers, the Student Experience team is committed to helping you navigate this uncertain time and achieve your academic and career goals.

Here are a few questions that were brought up during the MBA Q&A on April 8:

Can I elect a pass/no credit option for the Winter 2020 term?
Until May 15, in place of a letter grade, you can request a ‘pass’ (if the original grade was B- or higher) or ‘no credit’ (for a failing grade) for the Winter 2020 term. Students can apply this change to a single course or multiple courses. Speak with an Academic Advisor about the implications of this choice as some associations and graduate programs may require grades.

How do I purchase textbooks for the Summer term?
The online campus bookstore remains open and the spring/summer book list was posted on April 15. Any order which includes course materials will receive free shipping in Canada when you use promo code TEXTFREESHIP.

How effective has virtual networking been?
Technology, like Zoom and Google Hangouts, create an effective networking environment. No longer limited by geography, we are able to connect with alumni and partners across Canada and abroad. As the world is at home practicing social distancing and finding themselves with more flexibility in their schedules, now is the time to increase your networking activities.
