Meet Founders, Riley Moynes and Richard Brownsdon on February 27

Come chat with Horizon Energy Corporation Founder, Riley, and Inspiring Adventures Founder, Richard, on Wednesday, February 27 at 5 p.m. in MDCL 1008!

Riley is a filmmaker turned design/business strategist originally from Regina, Saskatchewan. Riley has an entrepreneurial background, having owned and operated a film and video production company for 8+ years while living in Saskatchewan. Prior to starting his MBA in design strategy at the California College of the Arts, Riley started Horizon Energy Corporation, a Saskatchewan-based solar energy company capitalizing on the Canadian government’s sustainability strategy and the unique climate of Saskatchewan.

Richard started his e-commerce business, Inspiring Adventures, in 2015 in London, while working for one of the largest social innovation co-working spaces in the UK. When revenue in the e-commerce business grew to six figures in 2016, Richard took the opportunity to move to Canada with his Canadian wife. Richard’s business focuses on selling high-quality passport holders that plant one tree for every product sold. The company focuses on selling through Amazon in the USA, UK, and Europe.
