Reminder: Enroll in Your Fall 2021 Courses

| July 19, 2021
Submitted by Sandra Clark

What you need to know:

  • Registration for the Fall term opened in Mosaic on Tuesday, July 6 at 8:30 a.m. (EDT)
  • Registration deadline: Tuesday, August 3 (registering after this date will incur a $50 late fee)
  • Winter registration will open in October
    • Tentative list of Winter 2022 courses and whether they will be offered in the day or evening is posted on the MBA Program website

How do I know if a course is being offered virtually or in person?

  • During course registration in Mosaic, these courses will have a notation of ‘in person’
    • All in person courses will have a simultaneous livestream option available to students who register for the in-person offering

Waitlist:

  • Course seats are available on a first come, first served basis
  • If you receive the error “Department Consent Required”, this means the course is full
  • You can add your name to the waitlist for a maximum of 3 courses total during the course registration period (July 6 – August 3)
    • In the meantime, register for an alternate course
  • We will monitor course enrollment and notify you if a seat becomes available prior to the beginning of classes
    • Due a high volume of requests, unfortunately we cannot respond to inquiries about your current placement on a waitlist
    • If a seat becomes available, we will email the first student on the list and give them 2 days to register for the course
      • If the ‘permission’ expires, the seat will be offered to the next student on the list
  • MBA students received the link to the Fall 2021 waitlist directly to their McMaster email on June 22
    • If you cannot find the link, email askmba@mcmaster.ca with your request along with your student number and note that you are an MBA student
