Paul Stothart was an accomplished professional who was committed to advancing the Canadian mining industry in his role as McMaster’s Vice President of Economic Affairs, which he held from 2006 to 2012. As a memorial to his impactful work at McMaster, his colleagues have established the Paul Stothart Memorial Scholarship in Mineral Economics. This scholarship, worth $3500, is awarded to a currently enrolled Economics or MBA student who showcases a passion for a career in the Canadian mining and metals sector.
