Shuttle Service and Collaboration Room Booking During Exams

| November 30, 2021
Submitted by Emily Cestra for Student Experience

The shuttle schedule has been updated to accommodate students who require a quiet, distraction-free space with stable Internet to complete their exams at the RJC. Given the limited number of collaboration rooms, we ask that only those that require these spaces book them.

What you need to know:

  • Shuttle use will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis
  • No additional shuttles will be provided during this time

If you are writing your exam at the RJC, you are required to book collaboration rooms ahead of time to ensure adequate space and resources. Should you require a collaboration room, please read the below carefully.

What you need to know:

  • There are a limited number of collaboration rooms
  • First-come, first-serve basis
  • One individual per collaboration room for academic integrity purposes
  • Rooms must be booked 24 hours before they are required
  • You can check room availability and book online through the DeGroote Online Resource Centre (DORC) or email rjcbook@mcmaster.ca

Please keep in mind the building hours as they will not be adjusted during the examination period.

Building hours:

  • Monday – Thursday: 8:00 a.m. – 10:30 p.m.
  • Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
  • Saturday and Sunday: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
