The STEM Fellowship: a national, youth-led, not-for-profit organization that creates mentorship and experiential learning programs to position students for success in STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) fields. We are currently looking for students with strong business and management skills who want to enhance these skills through a leadership role in a federally recognized not-for-profit.
New recruits will engage in roles including designing and implementing novel marketing strategies, liaising with our partners and sponsors, coordinating programs to reduce inequities in STEM fields and coordinating our scholarly writing challenge. Joining STEM Fellowship will enable current and aspiring business students to gain professional experience and develop leadership and organizational skills in human resources, business relations and marketing. This opportunity can prepare students to effectively engage with potential employers.
Students can also contribute directly to our ongoing projects such as the Big Data Challenge, which combines elements of global citizenship education and social entrepreneurship with big data analytics and research skills. Given the importance of data analytics in our data-driven economy, involvement in our organization will be highly valuable in students’ career pursuits.
