Updates to McMaster’s COVID-19 Safety Measures – Mask Mandate

| May 18, 2022
Submitted by Meagan Keane for Student Experience

Following expert advice, and the changing course of the pandemic in recent weeks, McMaster will pause its mask mandate as of June 1.

The university continues to strongly encourage our community to wear a mask when indoors or in close proximity to others while outdoors, even though masks will not be required. Free Level 3 surgical masks are still available at several locations, including the Campus Store. More information on this update can be found on the Back to Mac site.
