Submitted by Bita Pejam for Hamilton’s Member of Parliaments’ Youth Council

Hamilton’s Member of Parliaments’ Youth Council has opened their 2022/23 application. They are a non-partisan council that meets regularly with the Minister and other MPs to discuss a wide range of issues such as economic development, affordable housing, mental health, diversity and inclusion, etc. It’s a great opportunity for students to have their voices heard on issues that are important to them, work with the MP, and meet other Ministers and members of the community. We also share several volunteer opportunities in the city as well.
