Need an exam deferment?

Fill out a Deferred Examination form and email the form and any supporting documentation explaining your absence to the Student Experience team at buscom@mcmaster.ca. Please submit this information as early as possible, and within five business days of the missed exam. You can review the Missed Coursework Policy to understand what documentation is needed.

If your request is approved, your deferred examination must be written in the next deferred examination period: Monday, June 20 to Friday, June 24. You are required to write this deferred exam in the same format it was provided (i.e. Avenue to Learn, Respondus) during the deferred exam period. No further accommodation will be made regarding the completion of this course component.
