Recently, the DeGroote MBA program held its annual Adam Felesky MBA scholarship competition. Jessica Marangos, Program Manager at Kids Health Alliance and inaugural winner of the competition, sat down with Adam to discuss his motivation in establishing the scholarship, the role of management today and how business and business education are evolving.

What inspired you to create the scholarship and what were you hoping would be the impact for DeGroote?

What does it take to be a successful manager in 2019?

With the emergence of the gig economy, what impact does it have on the current business landscape?

Watch the full videos as Adam discusses the best advice he’s been provided in his career and the excitement he experiences prior to listening to the student pitches during the competition.
