Strategic Management

Faculty in the Strategic Management area focus on teaching and research in strategic management, business policy, corporate governance, knowledge management, sustainability, international business, business management and business law. Area members have garnered many teaching awards, including the 3M National Teaching Fellowship, and strive to make learning at McMaster an exciting and valuable experience.

Faculty have published in Strategic Management Journal, California Management Review, Journal of Intellectual Capital, Long Range Planning, International Journal of Business Governance and Ethics, Management Decision, Journal of Knowledge Management, Journal of Medical and Biological Sciences, Transfusion, Journal of Business and Society, and others. External research funding has been provided for scholarly research by SSHRC and others.

Highly successful books have been authored for university teaching and executive education. Extensive experience with Canadian and international businesses enhances the teaching and research of our faculty.
