2021 World’s Challenge Challenge (WCC) Competition

The WCC is a global competition open to all undergraduate and graduate McMaster students. Participants will submit a 5 – 7 minute video presentation in teams of 2 to 4 members on a solution to a specific global issue as identified in the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (also known as The Global Goals). The teams are encouraged to bring together individuals from diverse backgrounds and areas of study.

McMaster Round Awards:

Two first place winners will each receive $1500.00 and advance to the International round, WCC Final – June 7-10, 2021 at Western University. The second-place winner will receive $1000 and third-place winner will receive $500.

International Round Awards:

The winning team of the WCC International Round will win $30,000, the 2nd place team will win $15,000, and the 3rd place team will win $7,500.
