Pitching in For Charity team 17 has been working with the Burlington Food Bank and following their analysis, the team discovered that around 4,000 households missed meals, reduced food intake or went days without eating last year in Burlington. This number is expected to substantially increase this winter.

In collaboration with the DeGroote School of Business, team 17 has organized a food donation drive to give back to our community. Your participation would be appreciated to help bring food to tables this Christmas.

How can you get involved?

Bring non-perishable food donations to the RJC on November 23 and 24 and place them in the large blue bin in the atrium.

High-demand items include:

  • Peanut butter
  • Cereal (hot and cold)
  • Granola bars
  • Crackers
  • Canned fruit
  • Canned tomatoes
  • Canned vegetables

Thank you for your help and contributions!
