This program targets high performers who are completing their final year of undergraduate studies before September 2024. The Program will select individuals who meet the academic pre-requisites required for admission to the CPA Professional Education Program (PEP).

The 30-month Program consists of two 9-month rotations in Internal Audit and one, 12-month rotation in Finance or Chief Accountant’s office.

As CPA Associates rotate through the Program, they will:

  • Meet CPA Ontario practical experience requirements
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of the various Internal Audit business segments (e.g., TD Securities, Retail, IT, Wealth etc.) and Finance (e.g., Policy and Advisory team within the Chief Accountant’s office and Wealth Finance)
  • Participate in mentoring opportunities to build their personal networks

TD supports Associates through the CPA PEP and Common Financial Examination (CFE). This allows Associates to focus on their professional exams while gaining valuable work experience. TD also assists by providing:

  • Financial support for the CPA module and exam fees*
  • Time off for the CFE preparation**
  • An experienced CPA mentor
  • External training for the CFE

How to Apply:

  • The job posting will be open on the TD Careers website from July 10 to July 31. Interviews will take place this August, and successful candidates will start the program in September 2024.

*Finances are covered to a predetermined maximum amount as outlined in the TD CPA Pre-approved Training Office Student Expense Policy
