McMaster alumnus Krishna Nadella is the head for North and South America at Bloomberg LP‘s BVal (Fixed Income/OTC Derivatives Valuations). Krishna is also the Host and Producer of, ‘STATE OF MIND‘, a web-based discussion program that explores the relevant social, economic and political issues that are prominent at the post-secondary level of education. He can be reached via twitter @kcnadella.

Here’s his advice for students and recent grads of the MBA program at the DeGroote School of Business.

“Part of the MBA experience is to be overloaded – is to have too much on your plate – because that’s how the real world is.”

Part of Krishna’s advice is to remember the core values that have helped you succeed so far — on and off-campus. Focus on what drives and motivates you. That will help you accomplish more than you realized was possible.

What’s your advice for students and new grads? What was the biggest challenge you faced after graduation?
