Get to know a bit more about DeGroote alumna Sofia Colucci

Meet Sofia Colucci! Global Vice President for the Miller Family of Brands. Learn about the exciting path Sofia took following her time at DeGroote that eventually lead her to Chicago where she lives today with her family, the lessons she has learned during this pandemic, and what achievement she is most proud of in her career. Sofia also offers great advice and talks about her own mentors (including one of our very own DeGroote Professors!)

I have always been focused on a combination of brand management and innovation.

The Get to Know DeGroote series is about the stories of our alumni, their career journeys, and what it means to be part of the DeGroote School of Business community. Keep up with the series: https://bit.ly/2Imm4Fa.

    Hi Sofia!

So happy to hear you are doing well and showing the “name-brand” schools what a Mac alumnus can do! I recall with some fondness you being a TA for my 2MA3 classes along with six or seven others, and the minor revolt we had because they were process oriented and you were outcome oriented in marking reports. It looks like your judgment and approach have worked well for you. I am sure you will stay true to your passion and continue to make all of us proud for having known you.

    best wishes!
    Peter
