3D Printing Soup to Nuts Workshop

This is a day-long workshop that will explore 3d modelling and printing. We’ll take a physical object from the real world, use a series of sophisticated software to render it into a 3d model, and then learn how to print that model on a 3d printer.

Details:

  • Monday, January 22
  • Time: 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
  • Location: Thode Makerspace (Lower level Thode Library)

We will break for lunch from 12:00-1:00 p.m. Please feel free to bring a lunch. This workshop will not be recorded.

Important: This workshop is in-person and has limited space. Please only register if you can attend at the Thode Makerspace for the entire session. Thank you!

Preliminary Work/Prerequisites:

  • Bring your cell phone.
  • Please download the Widar app for 3D modelling.
  • Bring a small object to model.
