INSPIRE 3AR3 – Exploring Leadership in Athletics and Recreation will provide students with the opportunity to explore and participate in active learning in partnership with various units within McMaster Department of Athletics & Recreation. Students will complete a minimum of 36-hours of practice or experiential learning in a predetermined role; and will complete an academic component that is comprised of class, workshops, and assignments.

Prerequisites: Registration in Level II or above. Must hold a student role within Athletics and Recreation concurrent with enrolment in the course and permission of the instructor via intersession@mcmaster.ca. Students are required to submit an online application 30-days prior to the date classes begin at https://t.co/dvOIgm5gzh.

Examples of eligible roles:
– Intramural Game Day Supervisor
– Aquatic Supervisor
– Senior Camp Counsellor
– Mac Athletics Care Executive
– Varsity Leadership Committee Executive
– Club Presidents
– Varsity Team Captains
– Student Field Therapists
– Strength Condition Student Staff
