Caught up in the storm of COVID-19 news? Want to pitch your ideas on new policies?

Beyond the Horizon is a FREE policy designathon that’s sponsored by RBC and hosted by Infectious Disease Spotlight, an organization at McMaster University. The conference will consist of impressive keynote speakers, and several innovation challenges for participants to tackle Canada’s pressing problems with policy proposals.

Event details:

  • Saturday, Feb 20
  • The competition will be divided into three streams:
    • Finance and Economics
    • Biomedical and Research
    • Public Health

Interested in being a participant?

  • There’s $900 in prizes to be won so be sure to register before Friday, February 12 11:59 p.m.

Want to volunteer your time as a mentor or judge?

Time Commitment:

  • Mentors: 2-3 hours, evening of February 20
  • Judges: 2-3 hours, early afternoon of February 21
  • Sign up to volunteer
