Booking Collaboration Rooms

| September 27, 2021
Submitted by Christopher Longtin for Student Experience

Collaboration rooms are available with a reduced capacity and physical distancing is required in these spaces. Rooms must be booked 24 hours before they are required. You can check room availability and book online through the DeGroote Online Resource Centre (DORC). You will need to sign into the DORC using your MacID and password.

Alternatively, you can email rjcbook@mcmaster.ca.

    Hi,

I am participating in the program of Master of Finance Program under Degroote Business School. I would like to book a collaboration room, but the website explains to me that the website is not shared with me. Is this a technical error or I can’t make the reservation for those rooms?

    Best Regards,
    Zhen

Unfortunately i am getting the same errors!

    Hi Zhen,

Access to the DORC website is managed by each academic program. Please contact your Faculty or Program Office if you are having trouble accessing the website.

As the Ron Joyce Centre is home to DeGroote’s MBA and Executive Education programs, collaboration rooms at the Ron Joyce Centre are available for MBA and ExecEd student use.

    Thank you,

    Caitlin

    Hi Team,
The website has been down for about 2 weeks now. Has the website been sunset or it’s been revamped, if yes, then by when will the site be back up?

    Thank you for your time
    Best Regards,
    Yogesh

    1. Caitlin Costello says:

Update: Apologies, Yogesh. You are correct – the DORC website is currently being upgraded and self-service booking of collaboration rooms is temporarily paused. You will receive an update once self-service booking is available again. In the meantime, please email rjcbook@mcmaster.ca with any room-booking requests.

      Hi Yogesh,

The DORC website should be up and running, but access to this website is managed by each academic program. If you are having trouble accessing the website, please contact your Faculty or Program Office for assistance.

      Thank you,

      Caitlin
