Do you ever wonder what life is like after university? DeGroote School of Business Alumni are eager to share. Recent grads and former Career Mentors from all different streams of business will be joining us on Zoom to share their experiences in the workplace post-graduation, how their internships prepared them for the “real world” and helpful tips and tricks for securing employment.

Panelists:

  • Omar Hashem, 2017 – Senior Equity Research Associate at MFS Investment Management
  • Natalia Kowalska, 2018 – Recruitment & Promotion Coordinator – Outreach, Faculty of Engineering at McMaster University
  • Danielle Burnison, 2019 – Capital Accounting Analyst at Niagara Region
  • Hannah Tambor, 2020 – Assistant Brand Manager at GlaxoSmithKline
  • Connor Hicks, 2020 – Experienced Associate at PwC Canada

They will share things about:

  • The transition from school to work after graduating
  • How the internship during university helped them land a full-time job
  • One thing that they would have done differently in first year
  • Their #1 piece of career advice for current students
