Job Posting: Competition Law Officer (CO-01)

Your duties as a competition law officer may include:

  • Conducting research and analysis on potential competition issues
  • Gathering information and evidence
  • Conducting interviews with senior business people
  • In some cases, conducting economic analysis
  • In some cases, supporting the Bureau’s litigation before the courts
  • Briefing and making recommendations to senior management
  • New recruits who have demonstrated the required competencies are often able to
    progress to a higher level (CO-02) within two years

Educational Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in* or completed a Master’s degree in Economics or Master’s degree with
    acceptable specialization in Business Administration, Business, Finance, Commerce, or Entrepreneurship and Technology
  • Coursework must be completed by August 31, 2024
