The job interview is one of the most important and competitive events you’ll experience. Now consider, you’re also interviewing for an accounting role, and it’s probably your first real accounting job! Talk about pressure! Employers expect you to come in with strong technical skills and attention to detail. But what will set you apart is whether you can show that you’re more than just an aspiring accountant; you’re a promising candidate that will grow into a valued critical thinker and problem solver. For entry-level accounting professionals, your first interviews often test your accounting skills and knowledge, but it will go further; they may ask how you would handle problems, manage projects, and interact within teams. In this hands-on bootcamp, Ajay Pangarkar, FCPA, will show you how to prepare to impress, what will help you leave a good first impression and role play with mock-interviews.
