Extended Library Hours And More Testing Spaces For April Exam Crunch
Students hoping for extended access to McMaster University libraries during April exam season are in luck.
Beginning April 10, Mills and Thode libraries will have increased hours, with Mills Learning Commons open 24/7.
Hours:
Mills Memorial Library (main building)
Effective Sunday, April 10 to Friday, April 29 until 6 p.m.
- Monday to Thursday: 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.
- Friday: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Saturday: 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Sunday: Noon to 11 p.m.
Learning Commons at Mills Memorial Library
Effective Sunday, April 10 at noon to Friday, April 29 at 7 p.m.
- Open 24/7
Thode Library
Effective Monday, April 11 to Friday, April 29 at 7 p.m.
- Monday to Thursday: 8 a.m. to 2 a.m.
- Friday: 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.
- Saturday: 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Sunday: Noon to 2 a.m.
Classroom Online Test Rooms
Starting Thursday, April 14, the university is also offering a number of classrooms where students can write an online exam.
Classroom Online Test Rooms are open from April 14 to April 29 (closed on April 15 and 16).
- Burke Science Building (BSB), Rooms 137, 147 and B156
- Preliminary Laboratory (T13) Room 123
- Togo Salmon Hall Room 120
These rooms are available Monday to Saturday (closed Sundays) from 8 a.m. – 10 p.m.
Students are reminded to complete their daily MacCheck before coming to campus, and to respect the appropriate masking and food policies.
