As of Thursday, November 9, 2023, members of the union representing HSR transit workers will be on strike, which will suspend bus services across the City of Hamilton. Metrolinx GO bus and trains, and the City’s accessible transit service provider (DARTS) will continue to operate as usual.

During the strike, all McMaster community members who use HSR services to get to and from campus are asked to consider alternative transportation arrangements, such as carpooling with a colleague or friend, walking, utilizing the City of Hamilton’s carpool, carshare, taxi, bikeshare, and e-scooter programs, where possible.
