The Career & Professional Development team is hiring!

The Career Mentor Program
The Career Mentor Program (CMP) was developed to actively assist students with their career aspirations and learning goals through peer advising, workshops and outreach. CMP is comprised of a Senior Career Mentor and over 10 Career Mentors who foster active career engagement within the DeGroote BCom community.

We are currently accepting applications for these part-time paid positions:

  • Senior Career Mentor (#128736) | Deadline: Sunday, August 9
The Senior Career Mentor will work in partnership with the Student Experience – Career and Professional Development (SE-CPD) team to oversee and administer the Career Mentor Program (CMP). The CMP was developed to actively assist students with their career aspirations and learning goals through peer advising, workshops and outreach. Under the general guidance and direction of the BCom Program Lead, the Senior Career Mentor coordinates engagement of over 10 student career mentors in working with the BCom with Internship program and Commerce 2IN0.
  • Career Mentors (#128737) | Deadline: Sunday, August 9
Career Mentors (CMs) are student employees with Career and Professional Development (CPD) who assist with many facets of career services. Perhaps most apparently, CMs work with the CPD team in supporting students registered in the BCom with Internship program and Commerce 2IN0 through peer reviews of resumes and cover letters, networking and interview simulations, and mentorship. Throughout the year, CMs will support and promote the many professional development events offered through CPD.
