Marquee Group: Stock Pitch Competition | June 15 & 22

CPD and The Marquee Group are offering a virtual Stock Pitch Competition. This simulation gives you the opportunity to practise and gain market knowledge.

This is a two-part event: Stock Pitch Prep Session and Stock Pitch Competition.

What you need to know:

  • The Stock Pitch Competition is open to all DeGroote students
  • Form a team of 3 or 4, and register individually onĀ OSCARplus
  • By registering for the prep session, you are also registered for the Presentation component on June 22
  • Space is limited to 10 groups. A waitlist will be created if registration is full.

Event Details:

Stock Pitch Prep Session

  • Date: Wednesday, June 15
  • Time: 4:30 – 6 p.m. (ET)
  • Register: OSCARplus
  • Details: Marquee Group will review valuation techniques and distribute an “Assignment Sheet” with guidance on what to include in a stock pitch. Teams will select a company to pitch from the industry shared at this Prep Session.

Stock Pitch Competition

  • Date: Wednesday, June 22
  • Time: 4:30 – 7 p.m. (ET)
  • Details: 30 min group analysis presentation, Q&A, and feedback from judges.
