The MBA Games is an annual competition for MBA students across Canada. This three-day event has student teams competing in three categories:

  • Academic (think case competition)
  • Sport (selected by the host school)
  • Spirit (with a charity component to give back to the community)

This year’s competition will be hosted by Brock University’s Goodman School of Business in St. Catharines, ON.

The academic component may be the foundation of this competition, but those who have competed in past years will say that it’s part of the greater experience. Students compete. They learn and connect with other schools. The spirit connects teams to the community where they study. Memories are made and friendships are developed.

DeGroote has performed exceptionally well over the years, winning several times and almost always securing a top-three recognition – a testament to the strong community we build at DeGroote.

Before recruiting our competing team (a mix of first year and senior students across our FT MBA streams), we are seeking two captains to lead DeGroote to another win this year in January 2024.

The ask is big. This volunteer leadership role requires an investment of several hours per week, including most weekends, leading up to January 5, 2024.

So – does this opportunity intrigue you?

If the answer is yes, head over to OSCARplus for the live job posting, launching on Tuesday, September 12. The application period closes on Sunday, September 17 at 11:59 p.m.

Let’s get ready to compete in MBA Games 2024!
