McGill University’s Sustainable Growth Initiative, anchored at the Desautels Faculty of Management, is launching its inaugural Annual Grand Challenge on Sustainability, powered by Gildan. This year’s theme “Managing waste in fast fashion supply chains” aims to raise awareness about the social and environmental impact of waste in apparel supply chains and encourage innovative solutions to address this pressing issue.

Please join the Challenge for a wonderful opportunity to develop a compelling solution to this issue through a human-centered design approach. With your team, you will showcase your students’ research, creativity, and analytical skills. You will receive guidance and exposure to industry practitioners through coaching and mentoring sessions.

Cash prizes await the top three teams, with the 1st place receiving $15,000!

This challenge is open to students from various disciplines, including fashion and textile design, engineering, business, law, arts, and more.
