Student Affairs has recently launched McMaster University’s Black Student Success Centre (BSSC).

The BSSC is dedicated to supporting and championing the holistic success and overall well-being of Black/African students and fostering a positive Black student and student-athlete experience. The BSSC is a safe space where students can meet, share, socialize and access specialized support and services. All of the BSSC’s services are available to self-identified Black/African students currently enrolled at McMaster at any level or program of study (includes graduate students).

Faculty, staff and students are also invited to join the upcoming fourth episode of the Good and the Bad of Black Grad titled “Welcome Black: The Tips and Tricks of Inclusive Excellence” hosted by the Canadian Association for Graduate Students (CAGS) and Dr. Evelyn Asiedu.
