Submitted by Caitlin Costello for Student Experience

The Office of the Registrar’s Exceptional Housing Costs bursary is a one-time bursary based on financial need open to all undergraduate and graduate students who are enrolled in courses at McMaster University.

How to apply:

  • Students can apply for this bursary and others on the AwardSpring platform.
  • After filling out the General Application, the Exceptional Housing Costs bursary then requires students to complete their follow ups, which include sharing their monthly rent requirements, uploading a copy of their lease agreement and sharing whether they have dependents in their care.

The deadline to apply to the Exceptional Housing Costs bursary is Friday, November 24, 2023.

Anyone needing help with applying for the Exceptional Housing Costs bursary and additional bursaries offered by McMaster University can connect with the Office of the Registrar’s Student Services team in person in Gilmour Hall 108 or via the online chat at the Registrar’s website.
