Submitted by Ethan Houghton for Student Experience

With keynote speakers, engaging events, and an established network of talented students and professionals, this event hosted by Start Proud and our sponsors promises to be an unparalleled opportunity for networking, thought-leadership, and career growth.

Keynote speakers will include the honourable Kathleen Wynne, former Premier of Ontario, James Rausch, Managing Director and Head of Global Transaction Banking at RBC, and Nikki Gershbain, Founder & CEO of IDEA Consulting Group.

Students and recruiters will have the opportunity to attend a career fair, and other events will include drag performances by local icons Luna DuBois and Sofonda Cox, industry workshops, case competitions, and our legendary gala dinner, supported by our lead sponsor TD Bank.

Workshops will include networking opportunities and informal group mentorship on topics such as professional conduct and communication skills. Students will have the opportunity to participate in a case competition for their industry, and we encourage every student to partake in this amazing opportunity to connect, network and impress the judges who are experts in their industry. Once you register for the conference, keep an eye out for an email to register for the desired industry.
